A Short Bio

Mitchell Amador (@MitchellAmador on X) is the founder and CEO of Immunefi, crypto’s leading onchain security platform, having directly prevented over $25 billion in hacks and thefts to date. Through Immunefi’s leading role in the onchain security, Mitchell has contributed to the security of major protocols like Ethereum, Ripple, Lido, MakerDAO/Sky, Ether.fi, Filecoin, Stacks, Layer Zero, Chainlink, Arbitrum, Polygon, and countless others.

Mitchell led or participated in dozens of onchain war rooms that saved billions from theft and negotiated the return of millions in stolen funds from international blackhat hackers. He created the Scaling Bug Bounty Standard, driving adoption of bug bounty programs across crypto, ultimately enabling the biggest bug bounty payouts in online history. He also supported creation of the Safe Harbor framework and SEAL.

Beyond blockchain security, Mitchell founded Instituto New Economy, Portugal’s leading digital economy think tank and association. Thanks to the Institute, Portugal has become a global blockchain hub. Instituto New Economy is the creator of Europe’s leading regulatory event, the Reg3 conference.
